  • West Augustine CRA is urging residents to submit objections to a proposed methadone clinic treating opioid addiction on West King Street. Local officials expect community feedback soon (check local notice boards for details).  The St. Augustine Record
  • Kerry McCarthy, a longtime local media personality and political campaign consultant, passed away Dec. 31, 2025 at age 73; a memorial service will be held Monday, Jan. 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home in St Augustine (donations to United Way are welcomed in lieu of flowers).  Historic City News

  • Daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 8; Congress continues to debate the stalled Sunshine Protection Act that could make the change permanent.
