The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that Florida’s regular gas prices rose to $2.83 per gallon as of Monday, up from $2.79 last week and 9 cents higher than last month—making them 1.2% below the national average.

Costco recalled mini beignets sold locally because they were mistakenly packaged with chocolate hazelnut items (containing undeclared hazelnuts and filberts) that could trigger severe allergic reactions.

Customers with the mislabeled package should return it for a full refund.
