- ➤ Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis proclaimed Monday, Feb. 16 as a state holiday to observe Washington’s birthday with most schools and state offices set to close for the three-day weekend. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Health officials report rising measles cases in Duval, St. John’s and nearby counties and urge residents to check vaccination records; those with symptoms such as high fever or rash should contact their healthcare provider.
