- ➤ Construction on an 800-foot stretch of U.S. 1 in St. Augustine has been underway for three years due to weather, supply chain and manpower issues as the Florida Department of Transportation replaces a culvert under a small bridge near Oyster Creek — local food truck park owner John Valdes said the delays have complicated daily access, and the project is set to finish this fall.
