  • Comet C/2025 R3 (PanSTARRS) is brightening in the early morning sky today and can be seen with binoculars or a telescope in Florida. It will reach its closest approach to the sun on April 19 and to Earth on April 27.  The St. Augustine Record

  • John Adams’ documentary on his Civil War musical debuts at Limelight Theatre Tuesday, Apr. 21 at 7 p.m. The film shows behind-the-scenes interviews and rehearsal footage (including family history details) as it explores themes of unity amid division.  The St. Augustine Record

  • St. Johns County purchased 32.9 acres near the fairgrounds (adjacent to State Road 207) yesterday to plan a new park addressing growing community needs. Officials said funding from the FY26 budget and Impact Fees Reserves supports the acquisition as part of a five- to 10-year plan for southern neighborhoods.  The St. Augustine Record
