St. Augustine now makes it easy to retire old flags by offering drop-off boxes in several public locations.
The program partners with the First City Honor Guard and county rescue program to collect flags at (50 Bridge St), (151 King St), and (101 Malaga St).
The Florida DOT announced lane closures in St. Johns County through Friday, May 1 for road work—these include weekday and nighttime restrictions on CR 16A and I-95, seven-month bridge rehab on King Street, and detours for St. Johns Parkway and Hastings’ North Main Street during sewer installation.
