ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • This week, St. Johns County saw more e-bike crashes as a 12-year-old was taken to the hospital after a crash at Julington Creek and another child was hurt on Thursday, and a woman died in a crash in Jacksonville—officials say speeding and inexperience are to blame and urge parents to teach safe riding and helmet use.  First Coast News

CULTURE NEWS

  • The St. Augustine History Festival will run May 7-11 and will offer tours, lectures, reenactments, and a PBS documentary at over 55 historic sites that trace the city's history from 1565 to the present.   • St. Augustine has a busy May calendar with events ranging from arts festivals, film shows, sailing races and public meetings scheduled from May 2 through May 31—offering free, donation or ticketed experiences for residents and visitors.
