- ➤ The St. Johns Cultural Council named five women as the 2025 ROWITA Award recipients to honor their work in advancing local arts and culture plus the honorees include philanthropist Inez McDonald, arts advocate Irene Arriola, choreographer Ellie Potts Barrett, music presenter Joanne Everett, and violinist/author Caren Umbarger. - ➤ On May 6, the county commission approved rezoning on 65 acres near I-95 and CR 210 to allow 297 high-end townhomes, with an HOA managing the roads and preserving on-site wetlands.
