A St. Johns County father, Daryl Perritt, who lost his son Cameron in November 2024 after delayed hospital care, urged Gov. DeSantis to repeal HB 6017 that would end the 'Free Kill' law preventing families from suing for medical negligence.
Advocates in Tallahassee and billboards are pushing the governor to reverse his planned veto before the May 31 deadline — a decision Perritt fights against as he seeks answers for his loss.
