- ➤ Florida lawmakers have reversed plans to cut bonus money for accelerated courses in response to concerns from parents, students, and school leaders—original plans would have reduced funds used for teacher training, exam fees, and bonuses. First Coast News

- ➤ The Florida Legislature has approved $2.5 million to design a new layout for the busy International Golf Parkway exit on I-95 in St. Johns County. State Rep. Kim Kendall said the changes will separate retail traffic from cars going home—construction will begin in summer 2028 and finish in 2031. First Coast News
- ➤ On June 3, the St. Johns County Commission voted 3—2 to extend County Administrator Joy Andrews’ contract until 2030 with a salary of $285,000 plus cost of living increases, following her withdrawal from a Palm Beach County application and a vote of no confidence initiated by Board Chair Krista Joseph.
