Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 5000 block of Pelican Way in Butler Beach Saturday morning after a car in a home's carport caught fire—spreading the blaze to the rest of the house—and no one was injured as the State Fire Marshal's Office investigates the cause.

Storm chaser Josh Morgerman reflected on Hurricane Katrina's impact in Bay St. Louis, where a record 28-foot surge wiped out entire neighborhoods and led to major rebuilding after 2005.
