Good morning, St. Augustine.

Most major grocery stores in Florida will remain open on the Fourth of July, with Publix and Walmart running normal hours while Trader Joe’s ends service early and Costco stays closed.

Shoppers should check local store hours as some, like Aldi and Whole Foods, will offer limited access — helping them plan their trips.

The National Hurricane Center says a disturbance will stall late this week over Florida and may bring heavy rain, gusty winds, and rough surf along the Gulf and Atlantic coasts — officials advise monitoring forecasts before Fourth of July plans.
