Good morning, St. Augustine.

The National Park Service will build a new Fort Caroline on higher ground to protect the history as the current 1960s replica is repeatedly flooded by the river.

The new design will include raised boardwalks, markers showing the original fort's size, and a stage for programs, with work expected to finish by spring 2027.

After the Jaguars lost 31-25 to the Steelers on Saturday, head coach Liam Coen said the defense played loose on key third-down plays and will work to tighten its coverage—quarterback Trevor Lawrence said he felt good to be back in a live game despite penalty issues.
