  • ➤ Today, St. Johns County is experiencing rough surf and showers from a local nor'easter as Hurricane Imelda moves east. The county will see increased showers, thunderstorms and potential coastal flooding from Oct.3-5 with northeasterly winds of 15 to 25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph—conditions that may make marine activities hazardous.  The St. Augustine Record
