- ➤ Chez L’Amour closed abruptly amid a landlord dispute, leaving brides scrambling to secure new venues and thousands of dollars at risk. The owner said safety concerns forced the closure—while the landlord’s attorney claimed the venue was behind on rent and ordered to vacate by Sept. 2—and refund updates are expected by Friday. - ➤ This weekend, St. Augustine will host many events starting Friday when ArtWalk opens at 4 p.m.—a pet photo contest at Treaty Park and a play at a local theatre will also take place.
