- ➤ On October 3, Krispy Kreme offered a limited-edition doughnut lineup themed after Taylor Swift’s album The Life of a Showgirl. The dozen featured nine orange-glazed doughnuts and three swirl doughnuts — a nod to Swift’s celebration of the number 12 — and were limited to two orders per customer at Florida locations. - ➤ St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating complaints against Jeanetta Cebollero, owner of Chez L’Amour, after her venue abruptly closed last month and brides are still waiting for refunds—Cebollero said the shutdown was due to repairs while her landlord claims she was behind on rent. - ➤ The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is accepting online applications until Oct.15 for 2026 goliath grouper permits that will allow a limited harvest of 200 fish during a season that will run from March 1 to May 31. Anglers will be required to follow size restrictions with a 24 to 36 inch slot—catch-and-release rules apply as residents pay $150 and non-residents $500 if awarded a permit. The St. Augustine Record
