- ➤ St. Johns County warns residents that charges for the Hastings Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 13, are part of a scam, and officials advise not to send money or share personal details. The free parade starts at 10 a.m. on Main Street in Hastings + enjoy the community event. First Coast News
- ➤ U.S. 17 over the St. Marys River will close at 9 a.m. and reopen at 4 p.m. each morning from today until Thursday, Dec. 11 for routine maintenance on its nearly 100-year-old swing bridge (built in 1927), so drivers should use I-95 as an alternate route. First Coast News
